Composit Veneer

Composite veneers (or composite laminates/bonding) are an aesthetic dental restoration method that involves applying special aesthetic composite materials to the front surface of teeth. Usually completed in a single session, it is fast, economical, and requires minimal (or no) tooth preparation. They are ideal for correcting fractures, gaps, and discoloration.

What is Bonding?

Composite veneer treatment corrects minor shape irregularities in teeth without causing any damage. Your dentist will reshape your teeth using composite filling material and other special materials. As a protective method used in aesthetic dentistry, composite veneer treatment is ideal for correcting imperfections such as small gaps and minimal shape irregularities. It allows us to shape teeth with composite filling material without the need for cutting the teeth.

For example, a patient with gaps in their front teeth can get rid of this problem with composite veneer application without the need for cutting or veneers. However, a very slight grinding may still be necessary. Short teeth that give people an older appearance can also be lengthened with composite veneers. In this way, a younger and more aesthetic appearance can be achieved.

Composite veneers can also be applied to minor crowding that does not require orthodontic treatment. You can also use composite veneer treatment to change the shape and color of your teeth, correct minor crowding, fill small gaps, and enlarge teeth. The patient does not feel any pain during composite veneer treatment. In most cases, anesthesia isn't even needed.
